Trip Itinerary
Arrival in Kigali for your 5 days Gorilla and Chimpanzee Trekking Tour
DAY 1: Arrive at the airport, meet and greet with our guide who will transfer you to your hotel in Kigali. Five to Five Hotel in Kigali (Midrange) or Kigali Serena (Luxury)

DAY 2: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park- and Community walk
As early as 7.30 am our tour guide will pick you up from the hotel and then drive off to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest through en route you will do a city tour around Kigali with a lunch en route in Kisoro, you will reach your lodge in the afternoon. You will have an evening Community walk. Overnight at Trekker’s Tervan Lodge (Budget), Gorilla Mist Lodge (Mid-Range) and Gorilla Safari Lodge (Luxury)

DAY 3: Gorilla tracking and Transfer to Lake Kivu
After breakfast you will be briefed by a ranger guide on how you will successfully carry out gorilla tracking as you penetrate the thick forest for the rare mountain gorilla in their natural setting. With packed lunch, water, jacket, you will enter the forest following the animal trails, while in the forest, you may be able to view other animals like buffaloes, black-fronted duiker, leopards, giant forest hog, and the rare golden monkeys among others. The various bird and butterfly species will also satisfy your anxiety. The time taken to track these species is a predictable as it ranges from 3-9 hours depending on the gorilla movements. You will spend an hour with them and later return to the lodge for Lunch and transfer Lake Kivu. Dinner and overnight at Paradise Malahide Midrange

DAY 4: Canopy walk

DAY 5: Chimp trekking and departure
Begin your day with a cup of coffee at your hotel and transfer to the park Headquarters for a chimp trekking adventure. The trek also rewards views of other primates within the forest. Later transfer to Kigali, lunch will be enroute. Proceed to the airport for your departure flight. End of Tour
