Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Queen and Murchison Falls National Park

As soon as you arrive at Entebbe International Airport our guide will be ready to pick you and transfer you to Queen Elizabeth National Park which is 435 km from Kampala and takes about 6-7 hours drive from the capital city Kampala. Queen Elizabeth National park is located in western Uganda along the arm of the Great Rift Valley. We will have a stopover at the Equator for photographs and lunch en-route in Mbarara. Then after we will proceed to Queen Elizabeth National Park and on arrival you will do an afternoon launch cruise on Kazinga channel. The Kazinga channel connects lakes George and Edward and it offers an opportunity to see hippos, crocodiles, buffalos, elephants and a variety of bird species. Relax at the lodge. Dinner and Overnight at; (Budget) : Simba Safari Camp, Institute of Ecology/(Mid-range) Ihamba Lodge, Hippo Hill Camp/(Luxury): Mweya Safari Lodge, Ishasha Wilderness Camp, kingfisher Lodge, Jacana Safari Lodge and Katara Lodge.

Day 2: Game drives and Visit Lake Katwe

After breakfast go for an early morning game drive along the Kasenyi area of the park to see the predators return to their hideouts. Games expected to see include leopards, lions, spotted hyenas, elephants, bush bucks, warthogs and various bird species. After the activity, return back to the lodge for breakfast and lunch. After lunch you will drive through the Mweya peninsula, which is the highest elevation in the park. Enjoy the spectacular crater drive that rewards with sights of stunning crater lakes and plenty of wildlife along the way. Watch the salt works on Lake Katwe. Then after proceed to Fort portal. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge (Budget) Simba Safari Camp, Institute of Ecology/ (Mid-range) Ihamba Lodge, Hippo Hill Camp/(Luxury): Mweya Safari Lodge, Ishasha Wilderness Camp, kingfisher Lodge, Jacana Safari Lodge and Katara Lodge.

Day 3: Transfer to Murchison Falls National park

After breakfast embark on a transfer to the northeastern part of Uganda to Murchison Falls National Park which takes about 5-6 hours’ drive passing through through the green countryside through Hoima. We will enjoy lunch en route. We will proceed to the top of the falls where the Nile forces into the narrow gap to form a storm never seen before. From here we will cross by ferry to the northern bank of River Nile, Dinner and overnight stay at (Budget): Red Chills tented camp, Budongo Eco Lodge (Mid-range):  Sambiya River Lodge/(luxury): Nile Safari Lodge, Paraa Safari Lodge, Chobe Lodge

Day 4: Game drive and Launch cruise

After breakfast at the lodge, proceed for the game drive in the northern part of the park. Games expected to see include elephants, Uganda Kobs, giraffes warthogs, giant forest hogs, and lions among other. Return to the lodge for lunch and then in the afternoon enjoy a launch cruise on the Nile towards the bottom of the falls. The launch cruise will give you more opportunity to see more species of animals, including hippos, Nile crocodiles, buffalos and water birds such as shoebill stork, skimmers. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight at: (Budget): Red Chills tented camp, Budongo Eco Lodge (Mid-range):  Sambiya River Lodge/ (luxury): Nile Safari Lodge, Paraa Safari Lodge, and Chobe Lodge

Day 5: Transfer to Kampala

After breakfast go to the top of the falls for fantastic sight of the Nile, the longest river in the world forces itself through a narrow gap in the rock before intensely plunging down 43 meters. Have lunch at the top of the falls and then proceed to Kampala and later to the airport to meet your departure flight back home.
