Detailed itinerary
Day1: Arrival and transfer to Kampala.
On arrival at Entebbe international airport, you will be met and greeted by our safari guide/driver who will then brief you about the safari and later transfer you to your pre-booked accommodation in Kampala. Diner and an overnight at; (Budget) Namirembe Guest House, (Mid-range): Cassia lodge, (Luxury hotels): Sheraton, Speke resort Munyonyo, Imperial Royal Hotel.

Day 2: Departure to Kibale National Park
After an early morning breakfast at the hotel, you will be driven to Kibale forest national park which is approximately 350km. Kibale forest is known for housing the highest percentage of primate species not only on the east but also in Africa over 13 species inhabit only to this park. Arrive in time at the park for lunch and later in the evening you can go for an optional community walk if you still have energy. Dinner and overnight at: dinner and an overnight at mountains of the moon, Kyaninga Lodge, primate lodge kibale, Ndali Lodge (luxury), kibale forest Camp, Ruwenzori view guest house (midrange), Chimpanzee Forest Guest House (budget)

Day 3: Chimpanzee trekking and Nature walks.
After breakfast, transfer to the park headquarters in Kanyankyu for briefing before you set off to the forest to begin the search of our close relatives the chimps. Chimpanzee tracking time is unpredictable however it can go from 1-6 hours since meeting them depends on where they last spent their night from, so a reasonable degree of fitness is needed as well as tracking gears like sturdy pair of shoes. Ounce chimps are met, you strictly allowed only one hour with them. Chimps are fabulous fun to watch when doing their daily activities like feeding, making nest, playing among others. Day 4: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast, embark on a 3-4 hours transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will arrive in time at the park for lunch and leisure and then in the evening, visit Katwe salt lake to observe how salt is locally extracted. Expect to see various wild animals along the way among which include buffalos, antelopes and elephants. Dinner and overnight stay at: (Budget): Simba Safari Camp, Mid-range) Ihamba Lodge, Hippo Hill Camp (luxury): Mweya Safari Lodge, Ishasha Wilderness Camp, Jacana Safari Lodge, and Katara Lodge.

Day 5: Game drive and launch cruise
After breakfast, you will embark on the early morning game drive to see predators returning to their hideouts. Games expects to see include leopards, lions, spotted hyenas, elephants, bushbucks, warthogs among many others. Return to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, you will go for a 2 hours boat cruise at Kazinga channel for more chance to see a variety of animals that live and feed on the lake such as hippos, crocodiles just meters from the boat while buffaloes and elephants can be seen as they graze along the shores. The shores of Kazinga channel are a habitat to a variety of bird species including the fish eagle, and lucky visitors may come across the rare shoebill. After the activity retreat to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay at: (Budget): Simba Safari Camp, Mid-range) Ihamba Lodge, Hippo Hill Camp (luxury): Mweya Safari Lodge, Ishasha Wilderness Camp, Jacana Safari Lodge, and Katara Lodge.

Day 6: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After breakfast at the lodge, we will drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park passing through the famous part of the park Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park. Game viewing on the way is very superb and you will have a chance to spot the tree climbing lions sited at the fig trees or tree branches. Enjoy lunch at the Ishasah River and later depart to Bwindi impenetrable national park a home to the remaining endangered mountain gorillas. Bwindi N.P is also a bird’s watcher paradise since it holds 348 species of birds. Arrive in the evening at the park for leisure as you wait for tomorrow’s memorable activity gorilla tracking. Day 7: Gorilla tracking
After breakfast at the lodge you will be briefed by a ranger guide on how you will successfully carry out gorilla tracking as you penetrate the thick forest for the rare mountain gorilla in their natural setting. With packed lunch, battled water, jacket and sometimes packed lunch, you will enter the forest following the animal trails, while in the forest, you may be able to view other animals like buffaloes, black-fronted duiker, leopards, giant forest hog, and the rare golden monkeys plus also bird and butterfly among others. The time taken to track these species is unpredictable as it can go from a half to full day depending on a gorilla family, so a reasonable degree of fitness is needed as well as tracking gears like sturdy pair of walking shoes/boots, trekking sometimes involves passing through muddy and steep slopes. Ounce gorillas are met you strictly allowed only one hour with them while taking photography and videos with them as well as studding their behaviors. Return to the Lodge for lunch. in the evening if you still have energy have an evening community walk as you interact with the local people as you watch the Batwa community perform songs and dances about their former life in the forest. Return to the lodge of your choice for Dinner and overnight:

Day 8: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park
Have breakfast at the lodge and then after drive off to Lake Mburo National Park. Lake Mburo National Park is the smallest park in Uganda and the nearest park to the capital city Kampala. Take a game drive in search for zebras, antelopes, cape buffalos, elands and Oribis. The park has plenty of bird species. Have lunch at the lodge and then have an after noon boat ride on Lake Mburo in search for animals at the Lake shores. Day 9: Transfer to Entebbe.
After an early morning game drive, come back to the lodge for full breakfast and later with packed lunch, depart to Kampala with stopovers at the Equator crossing for photography and informative talks and snacks and later Proceed to the Entebbe international airport to catch your departure flight back home if scheduled on this day.
