This 5 days 4 nights Uganda tour will include a trip to Murchison Falls National Park and a visit to the source of the Nile in Jinja.
Day 1: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park.
After Breakfast at the lodge, our guide will pick you up at your hotel and drive you to the northeastern part Uganda to Murchison Falls National Park which is 300km (4-5) hour’s drive from the capital Kampala. The drive will take us through Luweero and Nakasongola. We will have lunch in Masindi town, and after the one hour lunch break, we will continue to the top of the falls the longest River in the world, forces itself through a narrow gap in the rock before intensely plunging down 43meter. From here we will cross to our booked accommodation for Dinner and overnight stay at: (Budget): Red Chills tented camp, Budongo Eco Lodge (Mid-range): Sambiya River Lodge/ (luxury): Nile Safari Lodge, Paraa Safari Lodge, and Chobe Lodge
After breakfast at the lodge, proceed for the game drive in the northern part of the park. Games expected to see include elephants, Uganda Kobs, giraffes warthogs, giant forest hogs, and lions among other. Return to the lodge for lunch and then in the afternoon enjoy a launch cruise on the Nile towards the bottom of the falls. The launch cruise will give you more opportunity to see more species of animals, including hippos, Nile crocodiles, buffalos and water birds such as shoebill, skimmers. Day 3: Transfer to Kampala- Jinja
After a hearty breakfast, we will embark on a transfer to Jinja passing through tea and sugar cane plantation with a stopover at Mabira forest. We will enjoy lunch en-route and proceed to Jinja. Dinner and overnight at (Budget): Kingfisher, Nile Porch (Mid-range): Gately on the Nile, Sunset Hotel, The Haven (Luxury): Nile Resort Jinja, Wild Water Lodge, and Nile Porch.
Day 4: White water rafting in Jinja
After breakfast at the lodge, you will head to the Nile River for White water rafting one of its adventurous activities, or you can go for an optional kayaking, quad biking or horse riding. White water rafting is an exciting exercise that does not require experience. Return to the lodge for lunch afterwards you will visit the source of the River Nile during a boat cruise and also visit Bujagali falls. Dinner and overnight at: (Budget): Kingfisher, Nile Porch (Mid-range): Gately on the Nile, Sunset Hotel, The Haven (Luxury): Nile Resort Jinja, Wild Water Lodge, and Nile Porch.
Day 5: Departure
After a hearty breakfast at the lodge, depart to Kampala with a stopover at Mabira forest for a nature walk in search for primates, forest birds and look out for the different tree species in the forest. Embark on your journey to Entebbe airport depending on your flight program.
